What Are 250-Watt Equivalent LED Shoebox Lights?

These are shoebox lights designed to replace either 250 Watt Metal Halide or High-Pressure Sodium Lights. These LED Lights produce enough lumens to replace the expected light output of these HID fixtures. (the same amount or more). Because they are LED Area Lights, they consume about 50% to 75% less energy than the HID lights they replace.

Of note, in some applications, it may be more appropriate to use an LED Flood light or LED Area Light if you need a broader light distribution.
