Seesmart® LED LIMITED 3 YEAR WARRANTY
(Applies to all Seesmart® Products with a 3 Year Warranty)
Limited Warranty and Limited Remedies. Seesmart LED (“Seesmart”) warrants to Customer that its products will be free from defects in materials and manufacture for a period of three (3) years from the manufacturing date. In the event that any Seesmart LED product proves to be defective in workmanship or materials within the three (3) year period from date of manufacturing, Seesmart provides the following remedies to Customer:
Year 1: Seesmart shall replace or repair, at its sole discretion, any defective Seesmart product at no cost to Customer.
Year 2: Seesmart shall replace or repair any defective Seesmart product at no cost to Customer, or shall, at its own discretion, reimburse Customer for 66% of the original purchase price Customer paid for the defective Seesmart product.
Year 3: Seesmart shall replace or repair any defective Seesmart product at no cost to Customer, or shall, at its own discretion, reimburse Customer for 33% of the original purchase price Customer paid for the defective Seesmart product.
Disclaimers: After this three (3) year limited warranty period expires, Seesmart is not responsible for any reimbursement or replacement of any Seesmart products. In the event that a defect or non-conformity is caused by Customer prior to the termination of this three (3) year warranty period, Seesmart disclaims all obligations under this Warranty. Except for the foregoing or as otherwise set forth in this Warranty, Seesmart disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for use or fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty is subject to change.

- Color rendering: For a light source, the extent of the agreement between the perceived
color of a surface illuminated by the source and that of the same surface illuminated
by a reference source under specified viewing conditions, measured and expressed
in terms of the chromaticity coordinates of the source and the luminance of the
source in agreed spectral bands.
- Lumens: also known as luminance. It is a measure of the amount of light a bulb produces
near the beginning of usage.
- Luminous efficacy: The ratio of the total emitted luminous flux, in lumens, to the
total electric power consumption in watts.
- Luminous flux: The rate of flow of light per unit of time, especially the flux of
visible light, expressed in lumens.
- Luminous intensity: The luminous flux density per solid angle as measured in a given
direction relative to the emitting source. The customary unit is candlepower, the
SI unit is the candela.
- Life Hours: an average rating in hours when approximately 50% of the bulbs in the
test fail. The testing assumes normal operating conditions.
- Color Temperature: The measurement of color expressed in Kelvin (K). The lower the
Kelvin rating, the “warmer” or more yellow the light. The higher the rating, the
“cooler” or more blue the light. For residential use, we recommend our day white
and natural white colors.
- Glare: The sensation produced by brightness within the visual field that is sufficiently
greater than the luminance to which the eyes are adapted. Glare can cause blurred
vision, discomfort, headaches or loss in visual performance and visibility.
- Voltage: a measurement of electrical potential and is the force that pushes electrical
current through a conductor.
- Wattage: the rate at which energy is taken from an electrical source or dispersed
by a load. LED Bulbs are rated in Watts to indicate energy consumption.
- Illuminance: The density of luminous power, also called “illumination.” One lumen
of luminous flux uniformly incident on 1 square foot of area produces an illuminance
of 1 footcandle. In SI units, one lumen of luminous flux uniformly incident on 1
square meter of area produces an illuminance of 1 lux.
- Ingress protection rating: The IP code or IP rating defined in the international
standard IEC 60529 that classifies the level of protection that electrical appliances
provide against the intrusion of solid objects or dust, accidental contact, and
water.

Use with any type of dimmer or other current/voltage control device with a non-dimmable
bulb will VOID the WARRANTY.

Warm White: 2700 - 3200k
The color of a standard incandescent bulb. A good color for living spaces, accentuates
skin tones.

Natural White: 4000 - 4500k
A better light for office spaces and areas where tasks are performed. Provides better
contrast.

Day White: 5500 - 6000k
Higher contrast than Natural White but not as bright and white as cool white.

Cool White: 7000 - 7500k
A Brighter Blue-White Color. Provides the highest contrast for task lighting but
the least flattering for skin tone
