Learn More About LED Induction Retrofit Lights

Induction Retrofit Kits

Induction retrofit kits are a perfect way to retrofit your existing HID Lighting (Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium) lights. Induction lighting is not a new technology, it has been around for around 100 years. The induction bulbs you see listed below are rated for 100,000 hours of life and are backed with a 5 year OEM warranty.

Typically, you can replace existing HID lighting with an induction bulb that consumes half of what the HID bulb consumes. Below are some guidelines:

  • 175W HID replaced with 80W Induction
  • 250W HID replaced with 125W Induction
  • 400W HID replaced with 200W Induction
  • 1000W HID replaced with 500W induction

Not only will you lower your lighting bill, but you will also dramatically reduce your maintenance costs. With 100,000 hours of expected life, gone are the days of HID bulb and ballast replacement.

Seocndly, the quality of lumens from induction lighting is superior to HID bulbs. Those who study the science of scotopic or pupil lumens recognize that induction lighting is one of the best sources of lights available today. This means we need less actual photopic lumens to light up a room because the lumens induction bulbs produce, such as the Induction Retrofit bulbs, are of higher quality. As we typically tell our customers, its not the quantity of lumens that matters, its the quality.

Thirdly, induction lighting is an instant on-instant off light. Gone are the days of 20-30 minute HID warm ups, not including the cool down periods.

Available in 100-277V and 347-480V, our Induction Retrofits are perfect for HighBays, Low Bays, Street Lights, Wall Packs, Flood lights and Shoe Boxes, Cobra head fixtures, Canopy lights, garage and gas station light fixtures, Billboard lights and tunnel lights.

Induction lighting is chosen as an energy efficient approach to lighting. It has an extreme long life along with being reliable and cost effective. These features make induction lights an excellent choice for use in commercial applications that are difficult to access like street lights, tunnels, bridges and high bays in warehouses and factories.
