LED A19 Lights
The LED A19 light is the replacement for the standard household incandescent light that has been a big part of our every day lives. Recently, the incandescent light has been replaced by CFL's. While more energy efficient than an incandescent bulb, CFL's are not without issues. These include slow start up times, short life spans and the inclusion of mercury. CFL's need to be recycled so that the mercury can be reclaimed, yet, the majority end up in landfills.
It only makes sense for their to be a LED version of the incandescent light bulb. The LED A19 consists of three main parts, the LED's, the driver and the heat sink. This is a very similar pattern for all LED bulbs: The LED's provide the light, the driver converts AC to DC to drive the LED's and the heat sink keeps the bulb and driver cool to extend the life of the LED's. A LED bulb that fails before it's designed life probably fails from overheating, so being able to manage and remove the heat from the LED's and driver is crucial.
